Paint along with me for Expressive Flower Painting
Venue: Art School Wales
Saturday, 20th April 10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm.
and Sunday, 21st April, 10am - 1pm.
Discover colour, expression and mark-making in an exploration of flower painting in acrylic paint. This workshop will give you the opportunity to try different acrylic painting mediums and compare them to mixing paint with water.
We will work from a combination of still life, reference images and imagination to complete a loose, abstract floral painting or, it could form the foundation of a painting to be completed after the session. This provides an inspiring, energising springboard for further painting in a series
The 3-hour workshop includes:
Looking at examples, and discussion how other artists have tackled this subject
Demonstrations of expressive drawing techniques,
Colour mixing with contrasting colours, acrylic painting mediums and different ways to apply paint.
